Volunteer
Midtown Radio runs on volunteers. Whether you want to help at events or pitch in behind the scenes, there's a place for you. A few of the roles we look to fill:
Volunteer Coordinator
Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers; develop orientation and training programs; maintain volunteer records and schedules; coordinate staffing for station operations and events; and foster a welcoming, inclusive volunteer culture.
Live Events Coordinator
Build and maintain partnerships with venues, artists, and community organizations; secure venues and book performers; coordinate with the marketing and volunteer teams to promote events, assign roles, and ensure staffing; oversee event logistics from setup to teardown; and run post-event evaluations.
Event Volunteer
Support the Live Events Coordinator at Midtown events through assigned roles — setup and teardown, greeting, artist liaison, and documentation — and take part in pre-event meetings and post-event debriefs.
